True enough . Maybe the Coaches can create some drills to help him . Have all RB'S and WR'S wear the same # in practice . Send Ben to the line with the play then run the groups in after the play call. Mix up the WR'S and RB'S force him to just scan and find the open guy, not his favorite guy.

Another drill that may help him in the Redzone is the fire drill. We ran this as well as the 1 above a few years back it helped our guys. Play skill on 11 in the Redzone , it seems like a huge mismatch , but that's exactly the point the DL can blitz drop in zone double or whatever this forces the QB to see the small window and it forces the QB to see the hotter than hot routes as we called them . Best QB clock drill I have been a part of. The object is simple don't throw a pick and don't take a sack if your QB can do that when you insert OL the QB should be a lot more decisive and polished in the shorter field.

Ben spreads the ball around a lot, every QB has his favorite go to guy but Ben definitely spreads the ball around.
And every time Archer touched the ball throughout the year, he was stopped for no gain or a loss most of the time, it's understandable if Ben didn't have a whole lot of confidence going to him in such a critical game.

In some games he does hit anyone and in others he doesn't . That's one of the differences in playing good and playing bad. Sacks and picks are not good things we both will agree and I think we can agree Ben doesn't do all he can do to eliminate those plays yet. He is getting better , but the drills above will help him I firmly believe that.
