I had always thought those pics were taken around 08 because they were used during all the allegations that surfaced later. Maybe they were just "stock photos" that were used to portray a certain image ya know?

It's the only definition of "Elite" worth discussing.

LOL! We debated this ad nauseum about a year ago and I'm not going to rehash it now. I believe they were. You believe otherwise. Agree to disagree. But they were.

LOL. I've never understood why British people call each other "gets". John Lennon uses that saying in "I'm So Tired" also.

Git is a mild[SUP][1][/SUP] pejorative with origins in British English for a silly, incompetent, stupid, annoying, senile, elderly or childish person.[SUP][2][/SUP] It is usually an insult, more severe than twit or idiot but less severe than wanker, arsehole or twat.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP]

Is Kurt Warner elite? He is in the 15 HOF finalists in his 1st year of eligibility: He was undrafted, he never started a game untill he was 28 years old, he only started 10 or more games in 8 of his 12 year career, and only won 1 superbowl out of 3 as a starter: Odds are good he will be inducted this year, and why will that be, it's pretty simple he is a media darling the boy who went from rags to riches in the NFL makes a great story for his induction speech, but an elite career, not so much....

Warner has on more than one occasion opined on Ben not being "elite" or one of the best and insinuated that if it wasn't for his defense he wouldn't even be considered.

I think a lot of it goes to the definition of "Elite" being loose. There are so few NFL players in the grand scheme of things, is our long snapper "Elite"? In that sense yes. If there are 30 QB's in the HOF, are they all "Elite", or are the top 5 of them more "Elite".

I'm not sure there is anyone who would disagree that Ben is "pretty damn good". Is that less arguementative?

    :applaud:
I think it is pointless to debate "elite". If you want to rank QB's past or present fine. Then it can be debated.
