The clowns have now named Johnny the starter and I'm just curious what people are expecting from them this week. I personally expect that since Le'Veon just tore them up this weekend that the clowns are gonna go in there and run it down their throats and Johnny's numbers will be basically comparable to what Hoyer put up on average. What do you guys think? For the record, I hope Johnny falls just as flat on his face as Hoyer did. LOL.

Expect to see plenty of designed QB draws and roll outs. Might make it exciting in the 4th, but Cinci should pull this one out.

I do, too, but not this week. I hope he tears Cincy a new one. And then falls flat after that.

He will win this weekend. The Johnny football era has started in Cleveland.Until some lb/safety takes the poor kid's head off when he is running all over the field. My bet he is in the league 4 years will retire due to ineffectiveness/ injury.

Out of the game by 3rd Qtr. Either by injury or ineffectiveness.

One of the defenders on the Browns said he is a nightmare to practice against. Gee, thats nice when he's wearing a red shirt and all, see how he does when Cincy is pummeling him. Kid better be smart like Russell Wilson when he runs and unfortunately for JM, I don't think he will be.

    Terry Bradshaw's first game.

    4-16 for 70 yards, 1 INT, 1 safety.

You gotta let the rookies learn.

    TB

4 time SB champ, MVP, HOF QB

    JM

A never was, never will be, overrated bust.

That's my prediction on how JM's career will compare to TB's when all is said and done.

You're probably right. My point was about how people quickly judge rookies early on. Elway was horrible his first game against the Steelers and even lined up behind the wrong lineman.

I've never liked JM game for the NFL, never should have been a first round pick, Merril Hodge thinks he should have been a 6th round pick.

You're using some lofty QB's as examples, I'm sure there were busts who had bad first games too. I agree that people judge too quickly but as I said, his game won't translate to the NFL, always felt that way.

Honestly is he not a lot like Landry? Didn't he have like a huge college career?

Amazing how often good college QB's don't become winning NFL QB's. The only Heisman winning QB's to win a Super Bowl were Roger Staubach and Jim Plunkett.

Man some Heisman guys don't even GO to the NFL. Didn't Charlie Ward win it for Florida State and then go play for the Knicks? Also didn't Tommy Frazier win it too?

Ward decided it was a better fit for him to go to the NBA....Worked out well for him.
