Top 5 seems like an overreaction, given his many keep the play alive throws. Big, clutch play, but in reality it was a pretty straight forward pass and catch to a wide open receiver. My memory isn't what it used to be to name my top 5, but this wouldn't make the cut.

I will say it is the prettiest deep pass I have watched Ben throw. In stride on target and no need to slow up, it was a beautiful thing to watch.

He's made some spectacular plays but he laid this ball in there like Bryant was catching a pillow. Critical time of the game and possibly the season.
    Top 5 for sure.

I'd have to think about it before saying it's in Ben's top 5 of his career, but it was an amazingly beautiful, well placed pass without a doubt.

A pass of Ben's that sticks out to me is the one to AB in the AFC Championship game where AB pinned it to his helmet and caught it. He also had a huge bomb to Mike Wallace in the Titans game in 2012. I actually think his best pass to Wallace though was against Green Bay in 09 when he threw the game winner in the back corner of the endzone. That throw was a thing of absolute beauty.

I was also thinking of that game winning pass in the GB game. The pass to Bryant wasn't a particularly difficult pass to complete. Most QB's can pull it off. The pass in the GB game was far more difficult. A lot of QB's can't make those throws.

Top 5 deep passes for Ben. What made it all work out so well is that he threw it before he saw Bryant open, which is something that has troubled him on his deep throws.

Ben's no. 1 pass of all time will always be the Super Bowl winning pass to Santonio to win the game. :applaud:

to many to count. when you look at it and think about it, way to many come to mind. it wasn't a touchdown pass but a few years ago(I didn't look it up) he threw a 40 yard rope down the seam between two defenders. it hit hines in stride. I remember whoever was doing the game say that only a couple of qbs had guts to attempt that pass let along the arm strength to complete it

the one to Bryant should be one we should be able to expect from a qb making 20 mil. a year as a franchise qb. I'd like to see more of them. Bryant is going to become quite special as the years come. I'm hoping these two get more consistent together, added to AB. then we have something.

There are a couple that spring to memory for me. Ben to Wallace against Miami. That pass was a thing of beauty. Another one was against Baltimore in the playoffs a few years ago. It was a tie game on 3rd and very long and Ben hit AB in stride for 60 yards.

You have to give Bryant a lot of the credit for this pass, for a rookie to make that catch in stride was a thing of beauty, it takes two to make pass plays work.......

Yes, Bryant gets some credit, and Ben gets some credit for the play action, CB & safety bit hard on that play.... so Bryant had plenty of room to adjust his speed if need be..... that was a giant window for Ben to hit. Beautiful play for sure.

My reason for giving this pass such a high rating in Ben's career is mainly due to the situation that they were in. In a very tight game that is virtually a must win with 8 minutes to go and ahead by only a TD. Ben delivered the knock out punch with an absolute beautiful pass that hit Bryant in full stride . The ball fell right into his arms between the 1 and 0 and it was off to the races which increased our chances greatly for making the playoffs. The pass also put Ben over 4000 yards for the season with 3 games still yet to play.

That pass to Wallace was the first one I thought of as well. I think the pass to Bryant was just a case of Ben throwing it as far as he good and Bryant ran under it. Not that it wasn't a hell of a pass...

I'll put it in my top 10. There were two passes on the drive to win the superbowl, plus the one that didn't go for a TD in his first superbowl. Just because of the magnitude of those plays. But the way that it hits Bryant in stride, being a 94 yard TD, I definitely put in my top 10 plays.

I would say top 5, that play is similar to the one he threw to Wallace against Arizona also a 90 yd TD.

It was a good pass by Ben. Throw it to a spot and let Bryant run under it. Thats what happened. What Im more impressed with is the play call. 1st and ten at your own 6 up 7 with about 8:30 to play. "Book" says run the ball.Get a few 1st downs and the ball near mid field than take your shot.

Dont know if TH called the play or Ben checked into it. Either way the play action is what made this play work. Brilliant!!!

Great pass but don't know if I can put it top five, he set a Steelers record with Wallace for pass plays over 40 yards, so I imagine there were quite a few of those.
