It was awesome and one thing I think that has been overlooked on the play was the absolutely phenomenal speed of Bryant on that play. He was seriously like 4 steps ahead of that dude! In the NFL that is CRAZY open!

Couple guys I work with asked me about that play and as much as I want to celebrate the heck out of it I had to tell them if Ben makes that throw 10 times, 9 of them are off target, overthrown, underthrown, late in getting there, receiver has to slow down, speed up or what have you and 1 time it is just a beautiful pass and catch. Loved the play and going for it there but lets be real Ben isn't exactly known for his accuracy on the deep ball so lets hope instead of 10 times we see just the one time perfect pass, no need to return to the days of Mike Wallace lets sling it deep five times a game.

Yeah his deep ball hasn't always been the best BUT he DOES execute the fake well enough to get the d to bite. But I still think the real beauty of the play was Bryant's insane speed. Either his speed is ridiculous, which I know he ran a great 40 but I don't really consider that their true speed because they aren't in pads and not late in a game and things like that. Or the Bungles CB is ridiculously slow. He was still about 4 steps ahead and in the NFL that's very good.

I'm only complaining about him missing so many easy throws in a game. When you watch the true elite QB's they maybe miss twice in a game, where Ben will miss at least 5 easy throws, that could've kept the drive going. Ya he played better in the 2nd half my whole argument has been about him missing the easy throws to wide open receivers. Ben admits to the bad throws, the coaches talk about them, guys on the panel talk about it , they say which Ben will show up today? how is that different from me saying the same thing?

You don't see me calling him Peyton Manning. "Which Ben will show up today?" is a legit question, because once in awhile he comes out and plays like crap. But a bad throw or two during the course of an excellent game is not the "Bad Ben." If it was, then for consistency's sake, I'd expect you to post about how great his handful of completions were every time he goes 5 for 29 with 4 INTs.

Not 1 or 2 bad throws , he gets up to around 5-7 bad throws per game, that could've kept things going. It's the long drives that kills the other teams D, Ben is giving them a big break by throwing garbage to wide open guys on 3rd downs.

Fine, 5-7. You know, most incompletions are bad throws. A small percentage are drops or miscommunications. And 10+ incompletions is completely normal, even for a very good game.

I think I'm done with this one. You keep up your complaints about his best games. Let me know when he has his first game you're satisfied with.
