Tomlin bans dancing...

...before kickoffs. Apparently, Tomlin thinks the reason that Jones broke that kickoff return was because guys were dancing before the play and had lost focus. B.S Tomlin is a idiot, and as soon as we lose another game all the ones on here giving Tomlin praise will be calling for his head,.. some peeps really need to pick a side and stay there...lol

 

James Harrison is about to get fined 100k...... because of excessive dancing. Obviously Coach T has his thumb on the pulse of the team.

My only thing is.... why publicize this stuff? Why can't Tomlin just ban dancing and keep it in the locker room? He seriously gets quoted that pre-kick dancing is banned...... just seems like a silly statement to me. I see no purpose to saying "hey I've got it under control, we are banning pre-kick dancing..... that'll bring our focus back". Instead of talking about it, just do it. Now we'll have thousands of eyes watching to see if some dude is pre-kick dancing or not.

I have no problems with this. You want to dance before a play, you better make damn sure you stop the team. Since our special teams guys seem unable to do so, they've lost the right to dance before the play. Want to dance? Make a great play, win the game and then dance your ass off.

So sick of the dancing and celebrating over nothing. Celebrating because you caught a ball is ridiculous. Celebrate when you get to the end zone. Celebrating before a play happens is even more ridiculous

 

I picked my side I like Coach T and want him to stay ...I don't like the job Colbert has done and I want him to go ...DL has finally started coaching aggressive and if he continues that he can stay as long as he wants if not he can go...

 

Probably just the fact that Mike Tomlin said it, tbh.

 

I've been pretty consistent in picking a side. 2 wins and a ban on dancing do nothing to change my mind

I got all excited when I read the heading for this. I thought it was a ban on dancing after any play.

Oh well, my belief it is another step in the right direction for showing some discipline.

 

I did not say it wasnt dumb, i implyed it had nothing to do with them scoreing, not the first time a team has ran a kick off return for a td on us.. and i dont recall seeing any prekick dancing then so

 

Depends, does the ban on dancing extend to the SB win celebration? Because if we win the SB, I'll be dancing all over the place and I'll be damned if Tomlin is going to tell me I can't.

I agree. It's a stupid reason to ban dancing. The Ravens didn't score because we were dancing. With that said, I'm perfectly fine with banning the dancing because dancing before a play even happens is ridiculous. Earn the right to dance first, then by all means.

 

I totally agree with Tomlin on this.
