I LOVE Radiohead - OK Computer in my Top 5 albums of all time, truly revolutionary. And I think "Karma Police" unfortunately is rearing an ugly head on the Steelers right now and summarizes how the wrongs of the Steelers' management and coaching is starting to catch up with us.

You know what they say - Karma is a beeyotch.

or as Radiohead said - "This is what you get, when you mess with us."

    :hijacked:...
But it was worth it for the laughs I got reading it!!!:roflmao:

And on a side note, there were some very insightful comments made, about how the team relates to your life, what`s important to y`all, and I loved how one member linked songs to his memories...

I think everyone does that to one degree, or another...

    My point was...

I think a lot of it has to do with age...
What is important to you when you are young, changes as you get older, have a family, job, etc...

The more difficult question I have been struggeling to answer for myself, is...

If you don`t care as much about what you used to care about, are you still the same person?

    Everyone grows/changes...

    But, what makes you, you???

This is me, using this board as "therapy", right now, because I really don`t believe in psychologists, "grief counselors", etc...

I believe if an emotion is true, you can`t really change it.

Things that make you happy/sad/mad, etc, are what they are, Right?

You can`t change whether it makes you happy or sad, or mad, to see a kitten getting it`s chin scratched, or how it makes you feel(or not feel), to see that same kitten run over by a car, right?

That is just your make up of who you are as a person.

So, when you commit to a team, say the Steelers, for instance, as your favorite team, as a kid, can you just shut off the feelings you have for that team, as you get older?

Does that fundamentally change "who you are"?

Or do you just recognize that other things are more important, as you get older?(For instance, that kitten getting killed, or the job you have, or people you love?)

I think BFT, already answered that part of my question, with his post about pastoring, but, I still have sort of an identity crisis, if I`m NOT pissed off, for days after a loss, because that`s how I always USED to be...

And, I know I can`t break things around the house now, during the games, because I am now living with a girl I love very much, and they are HER things, in HER house, not MY stuff, in MY house, that I was used to breaking, if I got pissed during the games...

Does that mean I don`t care about the STEELERS anymore?!?!

Hell NO! I went outside, and chopped wood for 4 hours, after we lost to the Clowns last week...

Found something constructive to do with my anger...

    Thanx for letting me vent...

That`s my contribution to the "psychological lab experiment", on this sports board...

    GO STEELERS!!!
