Mean Joe Football Life

It is set to air Friday night Sept. 12 at 9pm on NFL Network. I just thought everyone would like to know. It's gonna be awesome! It should actually be required viewing for the younginz on this roster. (or any roster for that matter)

 

I like all the Football life documentaries. I even watched the Ray Lewis and the Bellicheat ones.
I really liked the one on the Immaculate Reception.
The one on mean joe, will be great, I would love one on Lambert.

 

I'm 27 years old, so I obviously never got to see that defense or mean joe. But when kids were getting told bed time stories about fairytales and dragons, my dad and pap told me about the steelers of the 70's...

Actually I was thinking today that I wish they would just do one on the whole Steel Curtain. I certainly would settle for Jack though!

Man I recorded the Super Bowls and for some reason after an extended period of time they were just gone. I used to watch parts of 43 over and over. Do dvr's just do that?

 

Some of them, if your DVD gets full and you still have timers, will start deleting oldest content to make room.

 

If you want to keep something forever, some allow you to set protected recordings.

 

Yeah I had them set to keep "until I delete" them but some stuff just goes away anyhow. I bet that it just has no other choice but to delete them or something. I've still got some pretty old stuff on there though. I now have those Genie dvrs. They are REALLY unreliable for "sharing" and they disconnect from eachother CONSTANTLY. I got them by complaining about the price of Sunday Ticket actually and they lowered the price of Sunday Ticket and also threw in the Genies because my wife wanted them really bad. I do like that you can keep more stuff and record more at once but the sharing thing doesn't work good AT ALL.

Just dug this up to remind everyone to set their dvr. This might be the closest thing to REAL Steelers football we see all year!

 

It should be mandatory viewing for all current Steelers players and coaches. There should be a test on it 1st thing Monday morning.

 

That's what I was thinking too. We BETTER not lay an egg when he's there to get his jersey retired!

 

Believe every word they told you 7.....I became a STEELER fan on 12/23/72....

 

At least for an hour tonight, we can forget the troubles of the current team.
