This year he's no longer going to running back meetings, he will be going to the tight end meetings they want to use him in the no huddle offense. I still don't know why they didn't use Johnson as a lead blocker for Bell last season.

this is very interesting in a couple of ways.

willj played as an H-back a lot anyway. he was a WR in college to begin with. he's a good blocker and receiver. he can even run the ball some. nice weapon and let's think about this.

saves a roster spot as the 3rd TE. similar to Dri at wr/rb.

no need to keep Paulson or palmer, though I like palmer. we can also PS blanchflower.

it opens a spot on offense. maybe that extra wr? maybe another RB. an extra O-lineman or ... stay with me.... an extra guy for the defense.

if this happened, who would you want to keep? JB? alexander? hubbard? zumwalt? spence? velasco? McCain? moye? garvin? so'oto? molls? Richardson? w.allen? golden? a FA?

lot's of different ways to use this to our advantage and still have a quality guy at FB and TE in willj.

I agree, we need more use out of him. that's going to be tough with the all the weapons here. just another warhead added to our big ben missile's firepower.

with johnson and miller out there in double te sets it'll be a match up nightmare for defenses

Feed Will J. a good portion of Paulson's snaps.
