Couple of things that stuck out to me:

WR Jordan Matthews (Vanderbilt) at 6-2 5/8 209, had 10-1/2" hands, 32-5/8" arms and a wingspan of 80-1/8". Those are measurable of Linemen. Can't wait to see how he looks.

I'm glad LB Christian Jones (Florida St) didn't shrink. He is 6'3+ with long arms. Very much looking forward to watching him this week.

CB Pierre Desir (Lindenwood) is a bit smaller than previously thought. Still at 6-1 1/8 195, he still possesses alot of positive. Big week for him after a good East-West Shrine Game.

CB Stanley Jean-Baptise is of interest to me. A touch shorter than previously listed but still 6'2+. After seeing what the Seattle DBs were doing last night, a little extra height amongst our DBs couldn't hurt.

I just noticed that I had the wrong table pulling for the North team. Fixed it.

Dessir is one of those guys that I think will surprise and move up the boards soon.

Jean-Baptiste is a guy I liked early on as a mid round prospect, and I still do, but I think he's going to need more development than I originally was thinking.

I actually don't know a whole lot Jones. I like Matthews measurements as well.

I do think if they go wr Matthews is still the best all-around wr. a guy that has some size, not giant but can be a good all around #2. it just depends on how they decide to use wheaton.

Best all-around WR in the entire draft, or the best all-around option for the Steelers?

He's a great prospect no doubt. If we don't go WR in Round 1, I would love him in Round 2.

I am hoping somehow we can get Matthews and jones. those two would come in and either start or contribute immediately

We would have to trade down to do this, as I don't think Matthews is any value at #15, but yes, those are two players I would love to have. To me, both are 2nd rounders.

Jones put on an incredible spin move on backs on backer drills yesterday. His athleticism seems to be incredibly underrated. He really looks like Timmons in his days back at FSU. Jones may not have Lawrence's physicality, but he has all of his athleticism.

Matthews is struggling somewhat against press coverage so far this week. back to the strength issue amongst these wr's at the top. without special speed to add to physicality, or lack there of, I have a feeling some of them may drop some before all is said and done.

Some things on Matthews from yesterday:

"Many of the South DBs have said that Vanderbilt WR Jordan Matthews is the best receiver they’ve faced. Not just here in Mobile but all year. He continues to show that throughout the past two days. He had some decent battles with Utah’s 6’3” CB Keith McGill but Matthews came out ahead in most of those 1-on-1 situations."

"After grousing about dropping a few passes Monday, Vanderbilt wide receiver Jordan Matthews was spectacular at Tuesday's practice. He got open consistently and made a few very difficult grabs, and NFL Media analyst Charles Davis took notice of his ability to catch the ball in traffic.

"He will go into the briar patch, take his hits and keep on ticking," Davis said after Tuesday's practice. "I never worry about that part with him. Obviously, people are going to want to know what he runs (at the combine). All in all, I think he's a big-time prospect. Let's face it: How many quarterbacks threw to him at Vanderbilt? Try to name them all. Yet everyone knew he was coming each week in the SEC."

After the South practice Tuesday afternoon, Matthews wasn't finished. He and Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr continued working on red-zone throws on their own."

I don't know if I'd call them conflicting. Just looks like they're highlighting/summarizing different parts of practice.

Here's a couple more I saw this morning, the first one being more detailed. Forgive the source.

this is good stuff and helps reaffirm my faith in his abilities, not that they dropped much. I'm not understanding the drop to the 2nd round though. I didn't think he was a stretch in the first especially in the right situation (like what we need) as a starting #2. I have doubts he will make our 2nd pick. I saw on the national football post they were talking about deals already being talked about in the first amongst teams. of course I'm not sure why they would make them available. good stuff though TTF. thanks.
