Yeah I figured it was one of our mega homers. Not that there's anything wrong with such optimism. I think my pessimism is really more of a defense mechanism anyway. Sort of cushions the fall or something.

Wow! That's why I don't get excited right away anymore. Ya always have to wait a few to make sure there's no flags. In this case, there weren't!

turned the game on when I got in

for the
field goal I was siting on the edge of the bed
slid to the floor as the kick didn't go left ANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw that on the blaze too. Poor fella, I'm sure we were all a little giddy at the moment they lined up for the kick, and then once again at the returned botched punt fake! Ugghhhhh!!!!

I cannot think of any fan who didn't have the same exact thoughts going through their heads. I was so happy as they lined up for the kick knowing that by some strange fate....it had all worked out. Then he missed. Then SD get the KO. Then the Fake Punt/TD I thought they had won again. Then the FG hold. Then the "illegal contact" which should have been interference. Then the final play and I knew it was ALL over.

The next morning waking up to multiple articles about how the refs blew it....just brought it all up all over again.
