Have You Ever Watched Phillip Rivers Talk?

Yeah Rivers is a firecracker for sure. He's a small town guy I think and he just has fun out there. He's definitely not trying to be someone he's not.

 

I wonder if hes as tuff as he thinks he is

i mean i think ben could destroy him

 

He's a punk and, with his helmet on, looks just like "Alice the Goon" from the '60s Popeye cartoons.

 

He played with a torn acl didn't he? That's pretty tough but of course no one is as tough as Ben.

 

I used to not be able to stand Philip Rivers and always dismissed him as being a whiny spoiled brat who threw temper tantrums.

I watch him now and honestly wish that half our team had his passion for the game. Sure he still cries and whines alot to the officials as much as Brady does but he also shows an underlying desire to win unmatched by many players today.

 

I like Phillip Rivers, always have. He has fun out there. He's a mouthy guy but he once said that when he's mouthing off to an opponent it's like trash talking one of his buddys as they play in the backyard. He doesn't mean to be malicious at all, he's just having fun. I like that.

 

Same here coming around to him now.

 

More bad lip reading moments. In the bottom gif, Rivers is wanting to Hulk out as he says:

"MAKE ME GROW!"

 

TTF, maybe a good recurring feature going forward. In addition to "caption this" it would be fun to start a "bad lip reading moments" thread with a gif.

 

Hate Rivers, but all i know is the guy gutted out the AFC championship game with a torn ACL... I tore my ACL in june and its unfathomable

 

I wish there was audio of the time Woodley was trash talking Rivers and Rivers told him to "take his fat a__ back to the huddle."
