Other than Tomlin who......

gotta go my vote is for lebeau and haley and any one on the defense over 30. nice run(troy,brett,ike,ryan)but u guys are over the hill.

 

If we fire Tomlin then I want the entire thing blown up, including all coordinators and assistants. Let the new head coach bring in his own guys that run his system.

I don't think we will fire Tomlin though, so in that case I'd like to see DL gone and bring in the 4-3.

 

I wouldn't be so sure that they won't fire Tomlin. Its one thing when the offense isn't that good, but this has always been a defense first team and this defense stinks. Add the Tomlin's sideline step and the Rooneys may pull the trigger.

 

I think Haley stays, we're starting to get better on offense and if we can maybe shore up the O-line ,whether that's getting the guys we have healthy or picking up a guy in FA or the draft and we could use another playmaking receiver/ TE.
On defense if we stick with LeBeau then I think we have to get a better NT and a cornerback I think we have the other pieces, just need to get the young ones some experience.

 

I don't see Lebeau coming back. The defense needs a change in philosophy to go along with personnel.

 

I think the Haley system needs another year to see it fully developed. I have no idea if the Rooneys would agree - or if I would like to see that myself.

 

I think Tomlin and LeBeau need to go but Haley should stay. Two years to implement an offense with a HORRIBLE Oline is just too soon to see what could be on the table. Get a solid Oline and the plays can develop much better. I didn't watch but the last 2 minutes of the game but boy was that Oline disgusting.
Tomlin = fired.
LeBeau = retire.
Haley = stays.
Cowher = Rehired.

I'm with the group that Haley stays another year. We don't need to keep changing coordinators. I think we need that big receiver and another te. If all the offensive line comes back healthy next year we should be in good shape.

But I hope Lebeau retires. Because no one is going to fire him. Ike, Troy, Clark, Kiesel should be gone but realistically, I think Clark and Keisel will be gone.

Draft another another corner, safety and NT. We might need a new ILB if Vince Williams can't stay on the field on third down.

Oh, Tomlin isn't going anywhere. I would be shock if they let him go. Does he have his problems, of course, but he's learning just like the players and I don't see anyone out there I would won't to replace him. Cowher is very comfortable in the booth. So that pipe dream has sailed.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with that except, I prefer replacing Haley with ...

I expect Lebeau to be asked to retire. Tomlin stays, as does Haley.

Oline coach has an excuse due to injuries, what's the RB coaches excuse?

Will yet another special teams coach be the answer? Or do we need to looke for players who can contribute there as well as play offense or defense?
