Browns figured out a way to lose the game...

 

Out of interest, two of our best plays today came on the last play of each half.

Why don't we just play the rest of the season like that? As many back passes as we can? Entertain me, damn you Pittsburgh...

 

We are just a "team" that has no heart. Even IF we were still "in it" it really wouldn't matter. We don't have what it takes to compete at a high level. That's just the reality of it. It sucks but that's the way it is.

 

PI in the EZ. Everyone in the world knows is was a bs call. At least gronk is out for the year.

I stated this at the beginning of the season. I was never a fan who believed officiating determined games. But I am starting to change my tune on this, mostly because of the inconsistency. It is becoming harder and harder to watch.

And if any of you have watched what just occurred in Foxboro, you won't believe your eyes.

Hearing everyone talking about it is now making me load up NFL.com to see... though maybe they'll doctor the replay?

Don't you think that's overreacting a bit? I mean you're entitled to feel the way you want, but these guys are friends and were teammates for a while. I'm upset about losing too, so I can see where you're frustrated.

 

I actually think that if he did score it gets overturned as Ben threw it forward on that play.

Of course then this would've been all Bens fault.

 

I know it doesnt matter but shouldnt Tomlin at least had the option to throw the red flag?

You know what though, these guys at least started to pull it together. The whole dang team right now is made up of players I dont even recognize their name. I think we all knew they werent playoff material but never give up.

And that last play, WOW OH WOW!!!! At least they didnt pack in it.

 

Which is while I feel compelled to go on another rant. We need to stop giving them our hard earned money. If all we do is rant on a MB, but still show up and buy gear, why would they change? We need to hit them in the wallet before they kill this game permenantly!!

I actually thought that very thing. I'm not sure if they would have looked at that though since it couldn't have been specifically challenged. Wouldn't that have been like if there was a missed holding call on a scoring play and then they go under the hood to check the score they then can't take it away for a hold right?

Within 2 mins, it's all in the hands of the refs.

Brown did step out of bounds, it's just infuriating because what an ending it would have been.

In terms of officiating I'm more annoyed about how they let the Dolphins run the ball into the endzone after the sack. I'm more annoyed about more calls in the game as well, but they're lost in a strange red mist.

We were saying the same thing, looked like forward pass.

 

I think if they wouldn't have called it an illegal forward pass on the field then they wouldn't have been able to over turn it based on that. Sorta like that Fail Mary in Seattle last year where there was an OBVIOUS PI that was missed but they couldn't take the td for that because they missed it.

 

I stopped buying right after Goodell started all his BS with Ben and James. Not that they care, I'm only one person but screw the NFL money machine. And I refuse to watch any of the other games. I still watch our STEELERS but the rest of the NFL can go to hell for all I care.

 

At least Ben had a great game stat wise, I guess that is what is important!
