The play call on the two point conversion was absolutely maddening. It's a low percentage play all about timing and you know when you throw it up there IT IS GOING TO BE A CONTESTED CATCH! In case the Steelers haven't noticed, Manny "drops" Sanders is NOT Megatron or Larry Fitzgerald!

Having said that, Sanders got both hands cleanly on the ball and when that happens, an NFL receiver should make that catch. I saw Danny Amendola make that exact catch on the other side of the endzone in the Pats comeback victory Monday night. The Pats know how to come ALL the way back. We comeback to the point that everybody has hope and then that hope is shattered because we fail to make a play at critical moments.

Does anyone think that Ngata diving at Velascoe's knees was pretty dirty or should have warranted a flag?

He dove at them and he grabbed his leg on the way down to hold him in place.

The Packers are the best team in the league at that back shoulder throw. They make it look so easy that when other people drop it you can get really mad at them. But that one really wasn't a back shoulder because it was rather low. However, when a ball hits you in both hands in the NFL you HAVE to catch it. I don't like Sanders at all and not just because of that play. I really wish Ben wouldn't have tried to get cute and targeted that backup corner. Cotch has been money in the red zone and I would've probably went at him. Also AB has great hands and is leading the LEAGUE in receptions so I would say go towards them just for the odds. Maybe they were covered though.

I noticed that and I even wondered if that's why EVERY STINKING OFFENSIVE LINEMAN IN THE GAME went down with a lower leg injury. The Ratturds are the 70s Raiders reincarnated and it wouldn't surprise me if they don't have an inconspicuous way of "accidentally" rolling into a knee or ankle ending a lineman's game and potentially season! I absolutely LOATHE the Ratturds!!!

There were no other options on that play. Ben had no idea if they were covered or not. He was targeting Sanders all the way!

Yeah once that corner got in there I think Ben had a foregone conclusion in his mind. When the game is on the line you go to your most dependable guy. However IF we had made it to OT we wouldn't have had enough of an o line to even take the field. I really won't be surprised if we're bringing guys off the practice squad to play on the line.

It makes it all the more frustrating when, on the TD drive before, he improvised well and Ben picked him out.

Tomlin had 1 play, ONE PLAY. And he didn't make it. Allen had to tackle Ford.

My biggest complaint and it has been for the last few weeks is why when they are stacked up against the goal line and need one stinking yard aren't they trying a pitch out or a sweep or anything that isn't an up the gut run? especially when the defense is so obviously selling out to stop the run up the middle.

While I wouldn't put it past him to do that, It looked as f he dove low and grabbed his legs to prevent him pulling and getting on his block. Dirty either way, but I don't think he was trying to injure him.

The play was kind of funny. Having snot nosed Jacksonville fans getting in my face screaming like they did something significant the entire way back to my car wasn't so amusing. Especially when those same fans were all "aww shucks" before the game started.

Not that I felt threatened. Far from it. I'm just a miserable human being after a loss, and to have to endure that made me more so.
