Don't you think the injuries on the OL really limited what they could do?

 

I don't care what anybody says, I'm proud of the boys for fighting back all night and almost tying it up.

 

These simple ass kickers all try to be cute. If they would bounce the damn ball down the middle 10 yards I bet it would work. Hasn't been seen in 5 years. All of them run up and switch sides and kick it 7 efin yards

 

Totally agree. They should of just let Ben drop back and find someone. I knew the refs wouldn't make a call in a tight game.

I just feel like that was a terrible call on the 2 pointer. It just seemed like a normal redzone play, nothing special Didnt it seem in the past that they always had a spwcial play drawn up for when they went fpr 2?

 

This is why you have to be careful instituting rules. It took a TD away

 

the fake field goal abortion in the first half made the the difference . now if velasco and beachum are injuried , it doesn't matter we will pick higher in the draft , if they somehow can play in the next four games we have a chance to win out and make the playoffs . btw we should have come throwing from the beginning ..anyway good night

Crotchery has been solid in the red zone, I disagree with the choice of Sanders.

It was terrible because there was only one option on the play and it was to a very inconsistent WR. Heath or Cotchery should have been the choice there.

 

I know you're taking some heat but I agree. They were no means perfect but they fought. I mean come on, they basically had to score three times at the end there for that TD

It wasn't an aborted fake...it was a false start (which wasn't called btw).

 

I hear ya, I'm pretty bummed right now, but I lowered my expectations after the 0-4 start so I wouldn't be so pissed this year.

 

Yeah. Unfortunately I think they used it on 4th down. Giving up all the drives and then playing for a single score when the best you could do is tie is not a winning strategy. It hurts because we didn't play especially well but still ended up very very close. Story of the year....needed a turnover at some point and couldn't get it done. It would still be nice to see sanders make that play when the season was on the line....even if it was a difficult play to make. That's what winning teams do. Oh well.....need to get it together for the next four
