    Where was Cotchery today?
Zero catches for zero yards. I'll take the win every way possible but he may as well had not even made the trip up to the lake. Heck, I can put up those stats just sitting on the couch.

    Thoughts?

Sanders was being targeted today, maybe the Browns game planned to take Cotch out after what he did to Detroit.

He was wide open on one play but Ben didn't get the ball to him.

    yep
I think that was when Ben threw it to Brown for 12 yds after a (smallish) push off from A Brown.

    which brings to mind
the fact that people are mentioning his (smallish) pushoff

guess we'll be seeing a tighter called game in bmore 4days from now

    damn you replay!!!

This is a good scenario. It means that the #1 is playing like one, and Sanders is earning his tender. Heath was in the mix; so no need to force anything to Cotch.
Admit it, one and all, that was one of the few bad throws today.

I don't think they played a lot of three receiver set. I think I saw a lot of 2 TE 2 receiver sets with the RB as the third receiver.

Really? I thought I seen them spread out several times with four receivers?

I remember one target where he was wide open (one defender 10 yards deep and one 10 yards short), and Ben threw it 5 yards short into the ground. Would have loved to see a TD for fantasy points, but we won the game.

Believe me, the Steelers wish they had
more Jericho Cotchery's on their team.
You can plug him in,and he will play effectively.

I see this as a good thing. They've been leaning on him pretty regularly for the last few games, now they give Baltimore other things to think of in the coverage schemes. Win -Win scenario!

    True.

Though it would not surprise me to see Cotchery involved in a fake reverse in a game soon. Haley seems to like playing the long game with some of his plays - giving defenses a familiar look, then doing something less expected once in a while. Like the fake screen when Cotch scored against the Lions, for example.

In that spirit, I'd also like to see them, just once, line up on a 4th and 1 when they're obviously trying to catch the defense offsides, and then actually run a play.
