My wife sent this to me, and I thought it was worth sharing. The NFL shop has some pretty good deals on Steelers apparel this week. 40% off some items already on sale.

They usually do this around this time of year. I know because she gets half of my birthday and xmas shopping done. The good stuff tends to get eaten up quickly, unless you're in the market for a Mendenhall jersey. :lolol:

Great prices, too bad shipping to Canada kills the deal, like always

I've never thought of that before. How expensive is shipping to Canada from the US usually?

For a sweater, anywhere from $10-25. Then we have to pay 13% taxes on top of that for importing an item to Canada. On top of that, if the item isn't made in North America, we can be hit with duties, which is more money. The border security doesn't always charge tax or duties, but they can and sometimes do, so it's something I have to take into account when buying from the US. Sometimes it's still cheaper, but often it's not. The only way around it is if the business labels the item as a gift, then the border guys don't charge tax or duties. Businesses won't do that though because it's borderline fraud. Most E-bay sellers do.

Want to buy it on my behalf, mail it to me and label it as a gift? lol
