    I have to share this. My wife and I were watching the MNF game, and she asked me why the QB and WR's were telegraphing who was going to be passed to. I asked her to elaborate, and she got up and pointed to the QB, who was staring down his target at the snap, and the WR's going limp after a few steps on the other side of the field. One of them was Wallace. It happened many times.

    Ben's style helped Wallace more than he knew. The Scramble meant he was never really out of the play even if he wasn't the designed receiver. He could look like he wasn't involved, get that split second lapse and expect to have Ben find him.

    Thought I'd bump this. 39 yards recieving yesterday for Mike Wallace, the fins won. But, the Wallace stat line is terrible. Feel good Steelers fans. Mr. Brown tore it up yesterday for the Steelers.

    Someone brought it up in another thread...but it boils down to having the heart to go get it. Wallace runs fast but has never shown the heart Brown does.

    BTW...Mendy had 14 yds on 13 carries and now boasts a 2.9 YPC average. I know Bell isn't much better, but at least he has the rookie excuse.

    He signed a one year contract, right? Maybe we will bring him back in next year with our propensity to bring former players back to the fold. :shrug:
