Game Ball? Steelers vs Bills

So who gets the game ball today? I guess I would just say the whole defense. But if I had to say just ONE person I would probably say AB.

 

Not sure about the game ball today, but I think Cam Heyward is quietly shaping up to be the team defensive MVP this year.

AB or Heyward. And I agree with you Thigpen, Heyward has really stepped his game up this year and has had an awesome first half of the season.

Brown had 174 total yards so I'll go with him. He gained almost as much as the Bills did.

 

My game ball goes to the Bills for skg so badly.

 

Yeah, I say AB as well....receiving AND kick returning. Was tempted to go Ryan Clark for not dropping the INT....

 

Not sure who I would give the game ball to, but I think the unsung hero was Dwyer. He had some very key plays that kept some drives going.

Agree Hayward and Gay had very good games!! Havent seen 94 mentioned yet (sorry if I missed it) 7T-1A-1S....My thinking is give it to the whole D LeBeau included. Nice bounce back after last week!!

 

Don't mean to rain on anybody's parade, Myron, but our defense looked great today against EJ Manuel who won't be mistaken for Tom Brady anytime soon (see last week). Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy we got the win today and our defense looked better doing it, but I'll REALLY be happy when we can have this kind of performance against a top flight quarterback!

 

Stafford is not elite by any means but he's MUCH better than Manuel and maybe next week we can see if we've ACTUALLY had a fire lit under us or not.

 

That will be a good test. Stafford is a legit franchise quarterback and any QB that has Calvin Johnson is going to be a threat.

 

heyward was and is playing more like he did his sr. year at OSU. this can only be a good thing. he could take over a game from the d-line in college, it's nice to see some of this type of play come to the forefront again. nice job cam. everyone on the d-line did pretty well today and contributed. nice job d-line.

rb's on O, did a nice job today too. enjoy a win boys. troit won't be quite as easy next week, but i'd like to see the same results.

 

Agreed Jack. But the Bills are still A NFL offense who had more wins than ours going into today.(I know bye week still) Our D can only beat the teams put in front of them. After today do I think the Curtain is back? Heck NO!!! Do I like what I see even if it is one game against the Bills? You bet!!

 

Wasnt that GREAT?? My favorite was the no call for defensive holding on one of our receivers...Tomlin was incredulous that there was not flag and then slumps down in defeat lol. It was hilarious


Anyway, I give the game ball to the entire team - coaches included. I know it was the Bills but we looked complete for the first time all season.
