The rookie QB is 3-2. Our veteran QB is 0-4. His QB rating is only 4 points lower than Ben's.

 

I bet the injury killed the clock. But isn't there a runoff?

 

Yup just another case of one side of the ball coming to the game. They take turns.

The defense has only given up two field goals so far. Still not takeaways so it's hard to say they've distinguished themselves. The offense has false starts, a dropped touchdown, no running game, no touchdowns, couple of sacks. I still think this may be the best we've looked on both sides of the ball this year which is pretty pathetic when you think about it.

Should have been a run-off since they didn't have a TO.

The Officials came in signaling stop the clock though right off the bat. I think they thought he had 2 feet down then came down out on the arm OOB. After the review though, you'd think they would have called down and said he was down in the field of play. Probably would have just spotted the ball and started the clock for them on the FG try though.

 

I thought there was a 10 sec run off too. Can't wait till the nfl tries to explain that one

 

Which tells me the source of the issue doesn't lie with the QB, but with the rest of the team.

 

Was it funny to anyone else to hear Cowher talking about taking the cuffs off the young qb? We didn't hear that much when he was here. LOL.

I just saw the stats for L.Bell 8 atempts for 9 yards is this the so called saveior that everyone was braging abot when he was drafted??

Just a side note: Cromartie continues to get away with muggin our receivers for years now.

84 isn't exactly elite but I'm not looking to replace Ben. My point was this kid's not some wide-eyed, scared to death rookie.

Their run d is what ours used to be.
