They have cut out the pool tables, Ping Pong tables, video poker machines, said the Steeler players are not focusing on football. Boy there really serious about things.LOL

I thought this was just for players with less than four years experience ?

I think you're right but from the product put on the field maybe it should include the vets and coaches too.

Yes, and this is the veterans doing, not the coaches. They want the young guys more focused while they are on the clock, from 7:00-4:00.

I'm with you on that. Interesting that they'd be doing anything other than football during business hours.
I remember back in 95 when the Steelers were 3-4 and Cower put an end to cell phones. That turned out good.

Just so you know, it was the Vets that made the rule not Tomlin.

Cell phones and pagers is how I remember the story. I had a cell way before 95.

A seriously big issue. You had to carry around the charger in the back of your car, they were so big.

All I know is God help us if stopping some pool and ping pong is the big move the Steelers are making to correct things. I was listening to Bouchette on The Fan and he said they have shuffleboard too...didn't hear about them shutting that down too, but then again only the vets play that since it's an old person's game. :roflmao:

If I only knew there would be ping pong and pool in the NFL locker rooms I would have tried harder to pursue a career in football and study less in college :) :)
