‘You used your sport life experience as if to define every atheletes situation. Everybody’s situation is different. Your situation actually supported my point. The guys who are athletically gifted often dont work as hard as someone like yourself. Everyone wants to crown these guys as if they are grinders and worked their ass off. That isn’t always the case.

Regarding business you are the one that brought up that you grew up in a family business, I am assuming your point in that was to show that you had knowledge and experience in that area as if it is at the level of an nfl owner.

I never said my kid was great. I said he shut down some division atheletes. It was more of an indictment on those atheletes he shut down and how lazy the recruiters are. His sport requires year around participation and club sports. That’s where you get the exposure and neither he or we were willing to commit to that. Funny thing is he proved himself constantly against the club players. I’m not crying about anything. Your right we weren’t willing to do that it isn’t nor was it the most important thing to him or us. My whole point in saying that is to point out that the best atheletes aren’t always the ones that go through the recruiting process.

its kind of like when a bridge is built. Was the company that won the job to build the bridge the best company or the cheapest company? Sometimes people just don’t want to go through the whole recruiting process. If I was talking down on you it wasn’t meant that way.

I guess my biggest issue is I just don’t understand how anyone can sympathize with these pro atheletes over these contract situations. So if the guy gets 5 million less a year, who friggin cares. The guy is still getting life changing money for a child’s game. Like honestly stop victimizing these guys, they don’t give a **** about us. I hate that there is no loyalty in sports now and it’s become all about money. I hate both the owners and the players but the players more so. The owners aren’t trying to be cheap here they are trying to allocate how they spend the money within the cap structure to put the best product on the field. They obviously have some type of issue with Porter to some degree or his position in which they are unwilling to pay him what he thinks he is entitled too.

I didn’t like when Watt did it or Heyward. But they at least had tenure and a lot more accolades under their belt.

Correct. I get the green outfits mixed. I initially thought Kiwi but I know that's in Norway.

Lot of uncertainty if he plays tomorrow but that may be the case even if they do announce a contract before the game. McCarthy may feel he hasnt ramped up enough to play tomorrow. He’s hardly practiced.

Yes, with the first pick in the second round, so you acting like they took a big chance on him is utter nonsense.

At that point, their policy will overcome logic and reason. My mother always said you shouldn't bite off your nose to spite your face. The Steelers could use a reminder of that lesson.

If there gauruntee to work out that why didn’t Broderick Jones or the cb the Giants drafted before Porter or Emanuel Forbes another cb who got drafted before him. Yes they took a chance on him. If he was the sure thing they would have drafted him with their first pick.

    you’re joeling again..

I said a million dollars in retirement and posted a link to the stat which is 2.5% of Americans

If you read what I wrote you wouldn’t keep asking if I wrote something else.

You have no time for facts and honesty. We all know this.
