Rush has gotten all the first team reps, wont be seeing Strand unless Rush is benched or injured.

Tomlin lost to Ryan Mallett. Enough said.

Who was that Raiders QB that owned us 2009? Gradkowski. :lolol:

Don't even get me started on Mike Glennon's 3-0 record vs Tomlin.

Dorian Thompson Robinson had a career in which he threw only 1 TD and had 10 interceptions. His only career win was against the Steelers in the game that got Matt Canada fired.

Guess we'll find out if McCarthy's Steelers are better than Tomlin's at handling back up QBs.

Was Ben the starter in all of those games and did he get outplayed by those scrub QBs .

The line has moved from the Steelers -3 to -5.5.

Tomlin's Defense...his specialty, got owned. By backup QBs. :smiley1:

A franchise QB shouldn't get outplayed by scrubs that often, remember that MNF game against the Bengals and their third string QB.

Wonder if this is them eventually getting to the point where Penix starts / plays.

If Tua can't go (or they just don't dress him because he sucks), then maybe they say that Penix is OK to dress.

Start Rush (who probably also isn't good). Then move to Penix if he has a rough start.

Not sure if they can do this since Penix is listed as "out"...but I don't really get the nuances of roster manipulation.

    Re: Tua.

Good that this isn't his head. Dude seems like he's one hit away from bad things...

Remember Steelers almost losing a playoff game to AJ McCarron? Pacman and Burfict saved the day for Tomlin.

I was at the Gradkowski game. Ben threw a TD to Hines Ward that put us up 24-20 with under a minute to go. Only Gradkowski took the Raiders the whole length of the field and threw his 3rd TD of the quarter against our putrid defense to win the game.

I was thinking before Tua's injury that he wouldn't make it through the game because of the Steelers pass rush.

Yea but that win against the Bengals with the Burfict and Pac-Man melt down would be the same as you hitting all 6 numbers in the lottery and the wife washing the ticket while doing the laundry.

No doubt. Surely we cannot lose this one now.

Tua's not built for this level. He's too fragile and can't see over his linemen, nor does he have that sixth sense you need if you can't see over your linemen.

Of course the irony is thick given that Rodgers is probably too fragile for this level too, given his age. But what can I say you need people like me to buy lottery tickets so other people can live the fairy tale story.
