Only in 2009 in the Tomlin era we would not make the playoffs with the current format and funny thing I believe it was our best team in this era who did not make the playoffs in my opinion

Sure the floor was not the problem for Tomlin.Likely a good thing we did not make the playoffs in 2019 otherwise we would have a QB matchup between the duck vs Patrick Mahomes in the wild card weekend!

The 7 teams per conference is good for the money and not good for the product

Does no one else see the flaw in how this post was constructed?

I don’t remember a 2014 Steelers trade back in Round 1. Was there and I’ve forgotten about it? If not; they were unable to “pass” on Donald regardless of position.

I swear everyone is just getting dumber.

    Nope

It’s just that the dumb ones now have internet access and seek attention

Lot of teams outsmarted themselves with Donald. But Pittsburgh passing on the home town Hall of Famer (i.e. not positioning to go get him) was an epic organizational failure.

They are talking about the pre draft process. I havent seen where it says the Steelers passed on him.

Donald is recanting a story about how Tomlin was talking about moving him if they drafted him and LeBeau was saying who cares, just draft him, it doesnt matter.

Obviously it was moot, he never made it to them.

Oh I see what you are talking about, I thought you were talking about the tweet I posted, it’s in the sub tweet. Clearly we never passed on him, just another ding dong on twitter.

Yeah. I think the scouting process is an interesting topic to discuss.

But Twitter is just going to turn it into “Tomlin and the Steelers passed on Donald”. Any fact based conversation will be got lost in the Twitter nonsense.

Wanted to highlight I didn’t mean to come after you for posting anything. I think the conversation about scouting and the. What happened is interesting and cool to hear about.

I just think how Twitter content robots label it is infuriating.
