Fair enough. It's definitely different no longer living in Pittsburgh. It's pretty much why I'm on the board to catch up to date news that I can't catch on Twitter or KDKA like back in the day.

 

Steelers 31, Falcons 17. And 10 of those 17 points come at the end of the game in garbage time.

 

This is the game that the steelers will end their awful streak of not scoring over 7 points in the first quarter!

 

That's for sure. If we lose to Tua and the Falcons that would be a horrific start to the season.

Hopefully he looks as brutal in the regular season as he did in the preseason.

Seems odd that they announced it so early.

Between me and you, I would also get Max out there at RT. Given how he will face lesser talented EDGEs, best to get his baptism by fire based on the speed of the game first. The quality of the opponents will arrive later.


That said, no official announcement on who is the starting RT.

Seems to me a press conference would be a little over the top

Although I suspect Joel is working on an editorial

 

It is official but that doesn't mean it is definitive. For example, Spencer Anderson is also listed on the team's Official Depth Chart as the starting RG. That said, the team hasn't officially announced who is starting there either.


As for the press conference to announce both in this case?! I do agree that a tweet would be far more efficient. Atlanta did that with Tua. I see no reason why Pittsburgh cannot do the same with the two spots.


That said, a Press Conference is slated at 3 PM EST today. I would imagine that a reporter will inquire about that.

Wouldn't want to be a Falcons fan. Tua is awful. I guess good enough to start for them.

I'm apparently in the minority thinking the steelers OLine will be stout. Expecting a 13 point win.

 

If we do not win this game easily, fans and critics will be foaming at the mouth and running around with their hair on fire.

 

Keep Rodgers clean. Stop the run. Capitalize when Tua makes dumb decisions/can't see DBs. Definitely a winnable game, but the defense is gonna need to shut that ground game down.
