I've been hate watching The Vampire Lestat, and I have to wonder if someone that read the books told someone about it, and then they told someone else about it, and then they told someone else about it, and then they made the show.
I have watched 4 episodes, and I bet added together there isn't one whole hour of anything that happened, or was said in the books.
If you are going to go that far away from the books, why not just drop the books name?

I couldn't stop thinking how much better Billy Bob was in Goliath and finally gave up on The Lincoln Lawyer after a few episodes.

Anyone ever watched this Castle Rock??
Im on episode 8, and its pretty entertaining. I believe if You liked Welcome to Derry, You would like this. Its about the same type of things a show from pieces of stories, and characters from the S. King universe.

I've read most of Michael Connelly's books, including all of the Lincoln Lawyer, Harry Bosch and Rene Ballard books. In the book series, the two guys are actually long lost half brothers from different mothers. I like all of them.

I don't get Apple TV but Ted Lasso's first season was on the plane ride over. Pretty cool show. Not sure how other seasons turned out.

I just finished Silo season 3. The season finale was very satisfying, and some of the best TV I've watched in a long time.

Have you ever seen Logan's Run? Similar concept, but more realistic, and less sci-fil based (at least on the surface, there is actually quite a bit as the show goes on, but more realistic style sci-fi).

10,000 people live underground in a large Silo and are not allowed to go outside b/c of air contamination that will kill anyone within a couple of minutes.

People begin to question the leaders about whether or not they are being lied to.

It's not a high-action show, but there is a lot of story and intrigue, and character development. It's one of my favorite shows from the last 4 or 5 years.

It is one of those dystopian science fiction series. A lot of my friends dig it but I don't get Apple TV.

Sounds a little like that John Goodman movie 10 Cloverfield Lane but only a few people live underground. They too questioned if they should be underground.
