What is wrong with this voicemail? He's trying to pull one of his guys up when he's obviously down. He's telling him not to blink in the face of adversity and that he believes that he's built to be a player in the NFL and to keep at it. He was thinking about him and wanted to reach out when something devastating happened.

I was on the "fire Tomlin" train for a long time, but this is human not football. It is also the right thing by MT. He certainly cares about his people.

 

Human decency is diametricly opposed to the NFL. A love affair with the players is awesome! ..... if you win!
