Wonder if we got anything more than a plate of barbecued ribs in return?
Now who do we get to fill his place as reserve LT?

 

Third and a sixth with the Steelers giving up a fourth as well as BroJo. Not a lot really

 

Really nice to get that 3rd round pick. Sometimes the talent level drops off a lot going to round 4.
Now I'll be rooting for the Cowgirls to lose a lot of games this season.

That didn't last long.


On a more serious note and my thoughts in relations to the trade, I wish Broderick Jones all the best. I truly wanted him to succeed more than any other Steelers First Round Pick since Ryan Shazier. You read that correctly.


More than Terrell Edmunds.

More than Najee Harris.

More than Kenny Pickett.

More than Devin Bush Jr. even; another player I wish would have worked out.



I hope Broderick Jones can turn it around for certain. He is recovering still from his neck surgery and it still could be some time before he gets to 100%. Best of luck to him!

Out of our last ten first rounders, five are no longer with the team, six really since they traded for Minkah. I have no idea how this measures up to other teams, but not exactly a recipe for success.

 

I don't think it will happen because of his neck but my god the former coaching staff would look bad if Jones become a pro bowl caliber player in Dallas,similar for Kevin Dotson with the rams

 

Steelers built their identity in the draft. As soon as they started failing there, the team became mediocre.

 

I hope it will not be a another Kevin Dotson situation

 

Just like you said the former coaching staff was going to look bad because of Justin Fields with the Jets .

Jones has looked bad and is in the last year of his contract, you weren't going to get much for him.
