So why hasn't McCarthy gotten him under control then??
I'll tell you why, because its not a Steeler thing, its a NFL thing. Watch the ticker at the bottom of NFL network, or ESPN everyday. Someone somewhere is getting in trouble on almost every NFL team every week.
Also was it a Tomlin flaw, or we didn't have a good Qb flaw after Ben?? Because there were times when Ben , and Tomlin were here that we were in the top 5 of scoring, and passing.

Why is it only Tomlin gets accused of having a good Qb when they were tops in scoring, and passing, but you don't use that for anyone else?
Name me a HC that had tops of scoring, and passing that did it without a great Qb.

Belichick drafted Brady in the 6th, after making Bledsoe the highest paid Qb in the league.
Vrabel didn't draft his Qb he went to the SB with last year.
Seattle didn't draft their Qb they won the SB with.
Do you see the trend.

Here is to hoping, like many of us, age will adjust DK's attitude. As a kid, I might've poked fun about that worker (not at him, but later or with my friends), but as I age, with aging relatives, I dearly love older people that keep on working hard. I actually try to take a little time to joke or chat with them. I will likely be in that same place in the next 15 years, working at Home Depot or a grocery store, part time, to stay busy and make a little spending cash to keep from spending down too much of my retirement funds. I hope there are more people that are glad I am keeping the shelves stocked or answering questoins than their are young (and ignorant) people laughing AT me and taunting me. I'll try to remind them, hey, when you're here in 50 years, I hope you are treated well and with respect.

Older people or seniors are like truck drivers, the un-sung heroes keeping stores open and filling in for the younger people that call in sick too often (too much drinking or they just don't feel like working today). They're VITAL to keeping things running smooth at stores and restaurants.

Maybe DK would see the light if he comes in and no meat on the shelves and when he asks says can't find anyone to hire as the older people stopped applying after the DK treatment. If I was that man I'd reply to DK, how about working with me for one day, for 6 or 8 hours. Just to see what I do and how long I am on my old feet on hard tile and bending over all day long and going home with an achy back and achy feet. Are you up to the challenge?

 

The coaches you listed besides Tomlin, didn't go 9 straight seasons without a playoff win. Vrabel, Belichick and McVay would've been fired long before 9 seasons, had they done the same. Tomlin's last decade was a freakin' waste.
