**** on a Shingle or Creamed Chipped Beef Recipe

Anyone have a favorite recipe

My wife never heard of it and I am only doing this once

 

How is it possible someone in are age group has not heard of SOS? You guys must not go out to breakfast a lot. To damn many around me and to damn convenient.

Good recipes on the net. They are different for sure. I've had it in about 15-20 different places over the years and can taste the difference. When I did try making it once it didn't come close to my favorite.

I suggest using fresh butcher cut beef for it. I can't seem to get the cream part as good as my favorite.

The USN started my love affair with it.

 

My Mom used to make it for my Dad when we had something he didn't like. She used the little jar of extremely salty dried chipped beef and whipped up some white cheesy sauce, probably had Velveeta in it, the only "cheese" (LOL) we ever had in the house growing up. Never did anything for me back then - too bland. But I'd probably love it now as would my system. The World Wide Web is a great invention. Check it out sometime.

 

I already told you my story on it. I Love it but have never made it.
