I was just tired of that boring style of football who never work come playoffs time.Not wrong to wanting to see the steelers great again

 

Only because they didn't play us, or Vrabel would be 0- 4 vs Tomlin

 

I'm glad I didn't bet the over on the Steelers after seeing that performance against the Jets .

 

Every team want to face the steelers in the playoffs...Even the browns who are 0-22 in the regular season in Pittsburgh since 2004 beat us in the playoffs in Pittsburgh

 

You have to actually make the playoffs to face us. That's something you seem to forget. Sorry, Im mean thats something Twitter, X, and those countless things you follow haven't told you to think yet

 

And the steelers had to win their playoffs game vs Houston to face the Pats...Of course they were never close to win this game or the other 6 playoffs game before.Making the playoffs is one thing,winning in the playoffs was the hard part for Tomlin in the last 15 years

 

Doesn't change the fact that Vrabel is 0-3 vs Tomlin, and is lucky he didn't face him again, or he'd be 0-4.
It burns your a$$ that the 3 HCs you promised would show us how to really coach all got beat by Tomlin last year. LoL

0-4 is nothing....Again the steelers are 22-0 at home vs Cleveland since 2004(19-0 for Tomlin) but the steelers could not beat them at home with their backup head coach in the lone playoffs game

And you conveniently leave out the fact that Ben threw 4 interceptions, and couldn't even recover a fumble on the first play of the game giving the Browns a gift TD .

 

True....But they still could not beat the Browns in the playoffs and this is a fact

 

They would've won if Ben didn't play like a scrub, and give the game away that's a fact .

You can't be sure about that...The defense were still awful in that game and the entire team were not ready at the start of the game.The fact is,they have been down by 21 points or more in every playoffs game in the last 7 games and you can't blame that on Ben for the last 3 since he was on retirement

 

Going back to the OP.

My early prediction remains 7-10/8-9. That could change.
I do not put a lot of weight on the Jet game, McCarthy in my opinion Mike was looking at depth and looking for players.
What I learned from that is: Our depth is a little shaky.
So come next Monday, there will be some players available that can help. Question is, will the Steelers be ready and willing.

I doubt Mike uses the last preseason game as a tune-up. I might be completely wrong.
I would like to see Allar get some reps with some guys that will actually be on a NFL roster.

 

Two less interceptions by Ben then I like the Steelers chances of winning . The Browns playoff game was the last time the Steelers had the better QB but he the bed.

 

No,the defense did not show up in that game either...It was a classic Tomlin playoffs game and the steelers were not ready for that game...Just look at the first snap of Pouncey....

Anyway I said this at the start since another said that the pats were lucky to not face the steelers in the playoffs in 2025 because Vrabel was 0-4 vs steelers(all one score game btw)It mean nothing come playoffs time since the browns beat us at home in the playoffs in 2020 even if the last time Cleveland beat us at home in the regular season Roethlisberger was still in college.
