I agree with that. But it’s the way he had discipline and structure that made players accountable. That environment with the Killer B’s would have gotten even more out of those guys I believe. I think Ben Would have even been better than he was. Plus he was a better defensive coach than Tomlin ever was.

Well according to your previous logic only 1 guy can make difference as in a franchise a QB. You used that argument many times to support why Tomlin hasn’t won playoffs game recently and why Belicheck was meh without Brady yet 12 guys from Cowhers team one of which was a franchise qb by the way don’t make a difference. Which one is it? You are contradicting yourself here.

Still doesn't cover the countless teams that made the SB, and never made it back. They still had their Qbs.
    LoL.
Yeah countless teams have made the SB, and never made it back again with that same team, and yet our 12 guys(10 starters) were the reason we made it back , and then even less of them two years later. LoL.
Does it hurt to break Your neck in trying not to give Tomlin credit?

Again you use logic that one player made a difference in all of Belichicks SB’s yet 12 don’t make a difference in Tomlins. I gave Tomlin his flowers but you gotta be realistic. Those q players and those 4 coaches were holdovers from Cowher. Some of that has to be thrown his way. When those players and coaches were all gone we got a truer assesment of Tomlin and it showed a good not great coach. Is it too hard for you to not admit Tomlin had deficiencies and it was time for a change especially his style in today’s nfl.

Really that’s your argument. The olb room was stacked back then and Harrison himself said he didn’t study the play book. He used to quit in the middle of plays because he didn’t understand the defense. The Ravens cut him too by the way. Polamalu and Harrison won DPOY under zLebeau by the way, I rest my case.

Again. You are trying to tell me 12 guys are the reason we went back to the SB, and even less guys the next time, but you can't tell me if thats true why so many teams that make the SB never make it back with the same team.

‘I’m just using your logic. You’re the one that said Belicheck won all of his SB’s because of one guy. Using that lsame logic what a difference 12 guys and 4 coaches must make some of which who are now in the hof by the way including coaches.

No your not. You are evading the question because you, and I know it makes your little 12 guys sound stupid, and making it back the next time with even less sound ridiculous.

I’m not moving any goal post. Did I not state facts. Have you ever heard Harrison explain why he was cut back then? I have heard it in his interviews multiple times. Did both of these guys not play under Lebeau during there dpoy years? Harrison gives all the flowers to Lebeau and trashes a Tomlins defense and how it regressed after Lebeau left. That’s not me saying that that’s a former player saying that.

Tell me how am I not using your logic? I’m being factual your the one that sounds nonsensical with statements like
    “My 12 little guys”.

    LoL.
Oh no. A guy that got benched is angry at the guy who benched him. Tell me its not so. LoL.
All I actually know is He was a backup with Cowher, and a Starter with Tomlin.

Yeah Im done arguing. If I actually have to explain all this, I have already lost, because you should already have figured it out, and its a waste of time.
If I have to explain that 2 + 2 = 4, and have already gone over it every way I can, and You still are arguing its not, Ive already lost, and its a waste of time.

If You for sure know many , manu ,many teams have made the SB, and those same teams have never went back, and then think we only went back to the SB because of 12 guys, and even less guys the next time. Its a waste of time

Everyone knows not all 22 starters are going to be superstars. But if you have the core guys that move the needle that’s what matters. Those 12 guys were difference makers. Do I need to na,e them all. Hines Ward, Ben, Willie Parker, Harrison, Polamalu, Ike, Hampton, Smith, Kiesel, Farrior and that’s not all 12 but that’s a significant bunch to make a difference.

So you didn’t listen to his interviews. First of all he wasn’t benched he was cut. And he wasn’t mad at all in his interviews he was matter of fact and understood why he wasn’t mad cut. Plus if he were mad wouldn’t it be at the old regime for cutting him yet his anger is directed towards Tomlin because he feels Tomlin regressed in his coaching of the defense after Lebeau left. So again you don’t even make sense.

You aren’t willing to admit you’re wrong. You have a bit of an ego like hero Tomlin. Again I just used your logic of one guy making a difference on the Bellicheck teams so how much more must 12 guys have made a difference on Tomlins SB teams many of which were pro bowlers at the time and were coached by a HOF defensive coordinator.

Again some people know 2 + 2 = 4. We just get tired of arguing with people that can't see that, and it becomes a waste of time.
Yeah whole bunch teams make the SB, and the same team never make it back, but because of 12, and less guys , we made it back two more times. LoL.

Look I gave Tomlin his flowers. I would just like you to admit just once Tomlins style isn’t right for today’s nfl and it was time for a change or at least admit he had some deficiencies.

I get what you’re saying. I never said Tomlin didn’t deserve credit for those SB’s but not all the credit. some of that has to be extended to Cowher and Lebeau etc. I believe that even more so now after Tomlin faulted after all those coaches and players were gone. He proved to me what o always thought he was a good but not great coach who has defcicneceys and those were exposed in the last five years.

Do you believe that Switzerland deserved full credit for winning the SB after Jimmy Johnson left for he Cowboys? I do not and I view them as similar situations.

Some of you are either slow, or purposely ignorant.
I don't like Tomlin anymore than I like Cowher, or Noll.
What I don't do is listen to stupid $hit that gets spun around like.....
Even though a we have seen many many teams make a SB, and never get back with the same team, the only reason we got back was because of 12 , or less players. LoL.

And you're saying Cowher was a better defensive coach than Tomlin when LeBeau and Capers called the plays, stop talking out of your ass trying to give Cowher credit for a UDFA who he didn't play .

Cowher wasn't a great coach either he was a good coach, there was people questioning when he got into the hall of fame. He got in because they had an expanded hall of fame class that year. Imagine comparing Tomlin and Switzer tell me you don't know ball without telling me.

‘Never said that was the only reason we got back to the SB. I said they certainly were a reason we got back there. I give credit to Tomlin for getting us there but he didn’t have full control or influence over the team in that time period like he did later in his career. He certainly wasn’t as successful later in his career as he was early in his career.

but according to your observation Tomlin was the sole reason we got back to the Super Bowl. So o guess early on in his career he was a better coach and the players didn’t matter. Nor did the assistant coaches back then matter.

I guess Cowher didn’t have a coaching tree just like Tomlin?
