I voted Howard, but I also am assuming he is signed to PS if not making 53 man roster.

They should have never been there, but too many people don't think with their mind ,but with their feelings

 

One talking head said we trade for JJ McCarthy.

 

Using a 3rd round pick on Allar was not a good decision, IMO. They will be forced to keep Allar and place Howard on PS or trade him.

 

What if Allar is better than Howard?

 

I think Howard must have been talking to Broderick jones.

When reporters interviewed Howard, Howard said, “the move from left quarterback to right quarterback messed me up”

 

Aller is a better QB. Aller throws the ball, sets his feet and reads the defense better than Howard. When he gets some real receivers and a half decent line, you’ll see it. Howard is an Ohio State QB. He’s already destined to never be the guy. It’s science.

 

He is, but that's not saying much. Just means that Allar has a better chance of becoming a career back up than Howard.

 

I'm not sure we'll get much for Howard after tonight's game. 6th round picks who played like that don't usually have much trade value.

Unless....

Maybe we can trade him to the browns for 3 first rounders. Then the browns can extend him 4 years for 200 million fully guaranteed. After all, Watson's contract is in it's final year.

 

It was definitely a disappointing night for the young guys. Neither looked particularly good, even if they each had bright spots. Its unfortunate, because it was looking pretty promising after the first week that these kids were ready to go. I'm not real confident in Mason to win us anything if Rodgers goes down, so I was hoping the kids at least gave us a shot at having some potential waiting in the wings. I guess that can all change in another week (a bad outing means the same as a good one in preseason, nothing), we will see.

 

Allar had to play with scrub receivers who dropped four passes, and mostly backup OL who couldn't block.

 

This. If Howard balls out, then they keep 4.

If he keeps with 2 int performances with 30s rating. Practice squad.

Mason will be the primary backup. This actually is a good thing despite the hate he receives.

They might still draft another QB next year.

 

Hoping next week they give Allar the start

 

I have been reading the Wilson is actually to blame because he ran the wrong route on both passes. Regardless, neither QB looked competent.

 

Then that makes it an easy decision. What if Howard is better than Allar? That's not as easy.
