    Biggest question for me
Who starts at qb next game
    Howard
    Or
    Allar?

Man...not exactly on target, but two catchable balls there.

Both are solid. Frazier would likely get more recognition if he had better guards. Neither are All-Pros. They are both still young. And for the record, I actually would have traded Watt when he had his "hold-in" a few years ago. They may have had enough draft capital to move up to get a blue-chip prospect QB. As it is, his presence has provided Steeler Nation with some nice moments, but it hasn't helped them win another title.

That was an ugly throw to end game, truly disappointing.

Biggest loser tonight: Mike McCarthy. It was ugly all around.

Only thing I’m somewhat worried about right now is the O Line. That unit looks pretty terrible granted it’s meaningless pre season football.

Preseason, so it doesn't really matter.

But I liked the one that didn't matter last week better than the one that didn't matter this week.

Not much to get excited about here.

Mason's got to be happy about the outcome.

I would like to see Allar with the first team receivers and O line. His receivers and line were atrocious tonight.

As I said last week and will this week, any form of good or bad from Allar is going to be nothing more than building blocks for the foundation for him in 2027. This Preseason is all about him simply recalibrating himself on how to properly play the position. He is much improved by leaps and bounds from when he was during Rookie Minicamp. Tonight was further reminder that he still has some ways to go before he can be properly judged. If anything, a game like tonight will be critical for his development; namely in getting more comfortable feathering in touch during those short passes.

He was stepping up into the pocket a bit more at the end as well; a far cry from what he was doing for much of the game. Game 3 is where there should be more Pocket Management skills being showcased. I also expect an improvement to using touch on those short throws. Not every single pass but some of them.
