Howard will play next week.

 

It's only a preseason game.

But Howard only has this one and one more half (likely).

He looked good last week. Looks mostly bad tonight...but with some nice throws mixed in.

It's not "throw him away" time. But it's also not "he's going to take the QB2 job away from Mason" time. He'll be further away from the QB2 job after this game than he was before it.

And since we brought Rodgers back, we have some tough QB math to do once cut down time comes.

D trying to get Howard another shot at the end of the half though. He had a nice 2 minute drive last week. Hope he does it again tonight to show that he has a short memory.

Last time McCarthy coached a 3rd Preseason game Trey Lance played the entire game.

 

Sawyer is rounding into form. He is more explosive this season than he was a year ago. Arrow is pointing up for him.
