I think only an injury to Rodgers will get one of these guys on the field.

I can right now , without any difficulty find 5 things you have posted just this week , and in them you do it every time.
Example of Your so call post without saying anything.
The D is working on a different coverage, and then you say, about time we have someone that can do that.
Its so natural for you to do it you don't even realize you are doing it.

I never denied I do it but there are posts that say nothing other than praising the current team and you still bristle. I gave you. Two examples in another post.

And dude just stop, Im not going to alter how I post to appease you :lolol:

I don't care that you do. I just don't understand it. I remember when Noll left, and people I knew downing Him when Cowher took over, I didn't understand it. Yes it was a very long time since he took us to 4 SB wins, but he still did it, and then I watched on the internet people do the same when Tomlin took over for Cowher. I just don't get it.
I don't know why a person can't love the new without putting down the old. You be you, I just don't get it.

The way some of you guys just want to forget about the last 19 years is odd to me. It’s perfectly natural to compare, especially for those of us that werent happy with Tomlin. Tomlin supporters wont understand that because they hold him in higher regard.

We havent played a single game yet, its still very fresh in everyone’s mind, maybe after a year it will die down but I imagine it’s going to be a consistent theme throughout this season, especially if they are doing well. And if they win a playoff game? Tomlin supporters are going to want to take a vacation where there is no internet :lolol:

Do You read what I write, or not.
Im a Noll supporter, a Cowher supporter, a Tomlin supporter, and now a McCarthy supporter.
Like I said some people are just different. They can't like the new , and the old.
Noll went 7-9 his last year, and I didn't down him when Cowher came.
Cowher was 8-8 his last year, and I didn't down him when Tomlin came.
Tomlin was 10 -6 his last year, and I don't have to down him when McCarthy comes in.
Every single coach had a better year their 1st year than the previous HC, but I still didn't feel the need to down them.
Again we are two different people.

Did you read what I wrote?

And who cares if people criticize a former coach or player, why does that bother you.

    I already said it doesn't, I said I don't understand it why.
At least you admit it now, instead of saying you don't.
I knew Id get you to say it in black, and white eventually. LoL

I give him latitude because he’s a good person spending too much time alone with only ex wives and barnyard animals other than us to chat with :smiley1:

You couldn't be more wrong I have a futures Super Bowl ticket on the Steelers this year, so I'm rooting for McCarthy to win in the playoffs .

It seemed like you were trying to imply some fans didn't want the team to do well under McCarthy because of Tomlin.

Coaches have a shelf life. Assuming they are around long enough, when they hit it you can feel the lack of enthusiasm in the product on the field. And this happens to even the greatest coaches. Happened to Shula, who owned the only perfect record in league history. Happened to Noll who made it rain Lombardi trophies. Happened to Walsh, whose offense still dominates this league. So of course it's going to happen to guys like Cowher, Tomlin, etc.

Fans deciding they're done with a coach a bit earlier than the players is perfectly understandable. And the best thing about being a fan is there's not usually a right answer. You can end up in the minority of an opinion on something, but I never let it bother me that some folks hate this coach or that coach.

I'm also one of those fans who doesn't really hate the coach, unless he's straight bad at his job. And the Steelers are actually a blessed team in that respect, as they typically hire good coaches. Imagine being a Browns fan. :lolol:

Anyway I'll say yet again that I've never liked McCarthy. But for some reason there's a vibe with him and this moment with the Steelers. I have a feeling he's gonna hit his best window of his career here and now. Because I think he's got to be a better coach right now than he was at Green Bay. And the Steelers have a good organizational structure to benefit him and vice versa.
