The last time we scored over 7 points in the first quarter was against the Bengals with Mitch Trubisky at QB. Our offense only scored 3 points in that quarter, Minkah Fitzpatrick scored 7 on a pick six. Who knows how long it's been since the offense scored over 7 in the first quarter.

In the last five years Rodgers has averaged 2 sacks a game, last season a bit better. But with the OL flux this season I don't see his body holding up to the punishment he might see early on. Rudolph will play but probably give way to the youngins if he has a bad game or two. That's the way I'm seeing it right now.

Hopefully, there will never be any more rewards for "above average" in the NFL. In the NFL, touting above average is like bragging about your house because there are two houses in the same development which are in worse condition.:smiley1:

With that roster Cowher had no excuses not to win back to back SBs.

I give the guy a break because he had life altering things going on in his personal life. I admire someone in his position who puts family first.

No Bettis. We lost the adult on offense and Ben just had to ride a motorcycle without a helmet even though Cowher, Rooney and even Bradshaw begged him to stop.

And he hadn't had time to totally dismantle Cowher's fiery aura which still permeated the organization.

One of the things that will forever irk me was when Tomlin threw ugly dispersion on Bradshaw after Bradshaw correctly said Tomlin was a cheerleader.

Bradshaw was a legendary Hall of Fame QB, from Pittsburgh, Tomlin was a complete ass for insinuating that he was dumb.

It was insulting for Bradshaw to say that you don't last 19 years in the league being a cheerleader.

hold up, its okay for a man to call another man a cheerleader yet when Tomlin claps back its an ugly dispersion?

Bradshaw has even played into the dumb jock narrative so how was it an ugly dispersion?

if someone insults you, you can’t insult them back? That sounds soft af.

The Steelers are a family run organization and does things their own way, maybe Cowher should've been gone after that choke job in the 1994 AFCG.
