I currently have T-Mobile but I am considering getting Starlink for Internet/streaming. The T -Mobile works good when it works but when cellular demand goes up Internet dies. So I also use DishNetwork fog tv. I am considering switching to Starlink to stream and internet everything.

Any thoughts on Starlink? (If it’s available or soon will be)

Any thoughts on what I should use for regular tv (YouTube, Dish, DirectTV, etc .

    Thank you,

    jeh

Hey jeh, you remind me of Duran Duran, the band that loved themselves so much they named themselves twice.

I thought I was feeling single but seeing double. :drinks:

No idea about Starlink, maybe in 2056 I'll jump on it. Heck, I'm still holding out for 697G service before I buy one of those mobular phones. My car phone from 1986 is doing just fine.

Comcast/Xfinity best I've ever seen if you can afford. Super fast internet speed. All the channels you desire plus all the streaming services.

Just got two new iphone 17's. Monthly service is 38 bucks.

I think you are out there where service can be shaky. If you go that way post how it is on here, please.

The owner of the property I hunt signed up for starlink. I would only be out there 7-10 days in a year, but never noticed any issues with it. If i wanted to watch a movie or stream a football game there were no problems. Obviously the sample size dictates my experience might not be the norm

That movie gave me hearty laughs. Had Thanksgiving dinner years ago with Jack Hallett. He was the tennis pro wanting to buy the car. My wife and her sisters started their careers working as chambermaids in his family Motel in North Wildwood, NJ. It was called The Lemon Drop. Now it is yet another frigging Condominium which people pay 1.5-2 million to be crammed side by side with neighbors. All because of a usually cold Atlantic Ocean.

We've had Starlink for about a year and I love it. Several in the house streaming and gaming at the same time and there's never been a problem.

I think all people under 30 should be forced to spend a month with an old solid state TV that only gets 3 channels and you need a hanger to help with reception.
