Did anyone watch Becoming Hines Ward ? It was on SEC network. First aired 7-21-2026

 

No but would like to see it. #86 is the only numbered Steeler shirt I've ever owned. I've always loved this guy from first reading about him in Steelers Digest after they drafted him in 1998 thinking him a possible 2nd "Slash" which never materialized. He completed 50% of his career passes, 1 of 2. Same % as the Bus but he was 3 of 6. Randle El was 22 of 27, the closest to a Slash but not quite Kordell.

I hated Ward when he played for Georgia, but I Loved when we drafted him. LoL

 

Don't get that channel, have to see if it's on YouTube somewhere. He was the epitome of what was once a Steeler through and through.
