That was the strike season I believe. Steve Bono was our QB.

I thought we looked way better than we did against the Skins....now that could be because the Chiefs arent very good. I thought Dwyer looked good and the team as a whole had a lot more fire. I thought Troy had a great game. Gay, as usual, got smoked. Ike did a good job on Bowe. OL had some issues but didnt have as many penalties so that was a plus.

I think gay is going to turn out like McFadden and be demoted pretty early on in the season.

At one point we were running like a well oiled machine and then we get the BS chop block call which set us back and seemed to ruin momentum. At that point I feel we were on our way to a 17-0 lead. For the most part we looked better. There are still issues to clean up but most importantly we made it out of the game healthy! It sounds like Jones has a deep bruise and could go by the opener.

I am not giving up hope and that the sky is falling. The most frustrating thing is our special teams seem to be special for the other teams!!! Need to get that fixed and ASAP.

I agree. The two ridiculous 15 yarders didnt help our cause for sure. Troy's was the correct call- the other two? Not so much.

LOL....you guys and your preseason. Take all the preseason wins you want. They mean nothing. I'd much rather hit our stride in the regular season than in preseason. Start out on fire and watch us fizzle out come mid season. This is what preseason is all about. Real time action and experience for the younger guys and the older guys get to shake off some rust. If we come out looking totally lost for our first few games of the regular season then you'll have some legitimacy to go with your complaints.

Don't talk about playoffs, we just need to win a game.

Someone better tell Atlanta and Minnesota they are not going to make the play-offs this year, despite what the pundits say (well maybe not Minnesota). They happen to be 0-3 in the preseason. Does 1-2 count as not making the play-offs either? If it does, Green Bay and NY Giants are out too! Detroit, Carolina and Cleveland are all 2-1 so I'm thinking their chances of making the play-offs are pretty high. How did I ever figure this stuff out before preseason?

This is why you should be showing some stride by P3 cleaning up sloppy plays as to discipline /Penalties.. Preseason win /loss stats is meaningless but the mojo should be kicking in. to date we have the following stats...and we know other areas are still troubled not mentioned

    Game 1-7 for 50yds
    Game 2-8 for 95yds
    Game 3-9 for 98yds
    total 24 243

We should have been improving instead its worse and i'm sure we will have a handful thurs. playing the rooks.. Just hope we have this monkey off our back going into reg. season.
