I wish they could plan these international games ahead of time people don't sit around and wait

This is two games in two years I would have gone to

No bye after the Paris game. Play the Browns the following week, and then a week 9 bye

My last trip to France I rudely expected them to speak sign language. I of course had no idea how to speak sign language so was making up ridiculous gestures. But after the initial frustration passed, they were glad to at least attempt to speak good ol' red blooded American English.

We got our tickets today! Much easier presale process than what we went through for Dublin.

    Anyone else going?

I’m wondering if there is less demand than for Dublin

Plus Yinzers only have so much money and many may have spent that on Dublin

Yinzers are everywhere, not just in Pittsburgh. I'm seeing tons of Facebook posts about Yinzers going to Paris. I don't think it's a money issue.

We were able to get tickets from the American Express Presale for Paris. That process was a LOT easier than last year's Ticketdisaster process for Dublin.

Hoping we're able to take over Paris like we did for Dublin. It was 75% Steelers fans in Dublin.

Steelers sent me an email that I could enter a lottery and possibly buy Paris tickets so I entered

I got another email that I was successful in the lottery they gave me a link and a one time code and a time to purchase

At the proper time it sends me to Ticketmaster…..France…….Its all in French but I did figure out my spot in line was approximately 20 hours 43 minutes and 16 seconds.

I tried again an hour later with same results.

By 3 pm I got in and all of the top two tier tickets are gone so I tried tier 3. There were no options just buy 2 tickets so I tried that. At checkout it showed me my seat location one ticket was in one end zone and the other ticket was in the opposite end zone. WTF

I’m not buying that so I decided to go back and try something else. It asked for my one time code which I entered. It said I already used that code and then it booted me out of the system.

This was the NFL doing this just like the Super Bowl with priority going to anyone except the two teams playing. Even the Steelers email in bold print said if you have trouble don’t call them they have no control.

I couldn’t go anyway but I was trying to get tickets for my friend who sits next to me at the games.

With so much of the scheduled opponents known from not until they add another game or change the number of teams in the league, it seems like they could do this.

I don't think they should have international games for division contests.

But if they always kept them for the games where you play the inter-conference division games (not the ones based on placement). I think the only thing they'd have to think about here would be to make sure that in these games one division has 8 home games and the other had 9.

I guess the downside of this might be that Steelers fan in Atlanta (or whatever) will have fewer opportunities to see them play where they live.

But if this became the norm going forward, it seems like they could get dates on the calendar early enough for people to plan to make the trip.

I wonder if part of the reason they don't do this is because we're not the target market for these international games. They're trying to build out local demand in these locations. So making it easy for us to plan to go to these games might run counter to what they are trying to do?

I’m a season club ticket holder and won a lottery to be allowed to buy tickets. They still made it impossible. So I am thinking you are correct.

That really sucks. Sounds like a huge middle finger to what have to be among the most loyal fans in the league.

After 7 hours of trying I was offered two tickets one each in opposite end zones down low WTF

Since it was all in French naturally I went back to see if I made a mistake

The system logged me out and told me my one time code was already used

Steelers put their arms up and said to contact the NFL
