I like both, I like the 2nd better just because I can hear the instruments like the pedal steel better

 

Another song I forgot all about. Takes me back to 1976 Norfolk, VA. A real crap sailor town. (except me, of course) Few guys from the boat rented a house for when we were in port. It was like a share toy with some guys from another ship. Many a parties held there. Regardless what group of guys were there this song and album played daily.

 

One of my all-time favorite bands.

Now that you are good, you need to get this album, or at least a greatest hits by them.

 

I saw them in Hawaii in the 70's and all I remember was the big ass gong on stage they would hit every once in awhile.

Yeah, not my cup of tea, either. I don't dislike them particularly, but I was never drawn to their music.
