I'd probably go with Marvel Smith and Marcus Gilbert as the tackles. I know Smith played RT early but I kind of view both him and Villy as left tackles.

Need some ILBs... Probably Farrior and Timmons...

Would probably take JPJ over Haden.

Won't be popular but you have to give a little consideration to LeVeon Bell. Bus' career was winding down. Even FWP deserves some thought.

If you compare their entire careers, Parker belongs after both Bettis and Bell, but most of Bettis's great seasons came in Three Rivers Stadium. I think he only had one 1,000-yard season after the move. For this list, it should be Bell and Parker.

    Suddenness and glide Redman!

At another board, I argued with a guy for a few years because he insisted that Redman was at least as good as Le'Veon Bell. I told him to get some help, but he insisted that Redman and Dwyer were very good backs and Bell was overrated.

When Bell was drafted, I told him that Bell had a chance to be the best back in the NFL in a couple years. He laughed at me and said I was nuts.

He insisted that Redman could be an incredible back if they would just give him the touches, and he bashed Bell all the time saying he was an average back. Only after a few years and Bell putting up incredible numbers did he finally concede the point.

    Ahhhh, the good old days.

Bell was a much better running back that Parker and I think that Parker was underrated with us.But Bell was the best running back for a few years with us(in the 2014 to 2016 period).Of course maybe Parker is ahead is because it ended so ugly with Bell at the end

Who is it again that has the longest rushing TD in NFL history in the SB??
    Bell regular season yes.
    Bell playoffs no.
Hell I believe Bell missed 5 playoff games we were in for either injuries, or contract issues, and that's not counting the playoff games missed that he started, and got injured in, and couldn't finish.
Playoffs wise, I take FWP over him any day

It wasn't close. Parker wasn't much of a factor in the passing game. Bell was a great receiver and blocker.

Bell was our best player with Shazier in the 2016 playoffs

That one-play sample size really means something to you, huh?

I guess you forgot that Bell is the one who holds the Steelers' record for rushing yards in a playoff game with 170. That was in a victory over the Chiefs in the Divisional Round. He broke his own record of 167, which he set the previous week against the Dolphins. Bell ran for 430 yards in five career playoff games, four of them starts. (He had a couple of carries in a playoff game with the Chiefs.) He averaged 5.2 yards per carry. In seven career playoff games, Parker ran for 471 yards, averaging only 3.7 yards per carry. If you take all 126 playoff carries other than the 75-yard run, Parker averaged only 3.1 yards in the post-season. Don't get me wrong. Of course, that one play matters, but Bell was the better back and it wasn't close.

Miss 5 playoff game for him, I would say he apparently can play offense when we need him.

No question he had some bad luck with injuries but when he was healthy,he was the best running back in the NFL during a 3 years period

Not when it comes to McVay and Vrabel. Both have been to Super Bowls more recently, McVay winning one, also winning actual playoff games... but you consider Tomlin's regular season wins since 2011 to be superior. Double standard.

I will never forget a household full of diehard Steeler fans screaming "RUN YOU MFer RUN" in that Seahawk SB. One of our ladies went to the bathroom at that moment and came flying out with her pants down when she heard the commotion:)

We pretty much did the same thing when Harrison made that amazing run in the SB.

Two big time Super Bowl plays made by undrafted players. Not sure if these are still SB records or not.
