This is like saying that right now,the yankees are the best franchise in baseball because they have 27 world series title in their history

Big difference between history and right now....

That's exactly what you say about the Steelers weekly. That's why I made that example.

What I'm trying to say is no team, no matter the owner, HC, and GM stays great forever, but that doesn't take away what they have done, and many , many many people on here try doing that, daily.

I have been a Steelers fan since before the 70’s so I’ve got to enjoy the good with the not so good

Therefore I don’t have the need to repetitively whine as some do

None the less even I would enjoy a playoff win every so often and I was ready for a change years ago when I first stated it

I only felt the need to state it once

You can't accept the fact that the eagles are better that us right now....You still talk about the 2000s and even the 1970s

I'm talking about without spygate, or deflate gate.

Patriots whipped Steelers like rugs without cheating. See 2016 AFC Championship. That game was over by the 3rd quarter.

Also check the regular season games vs Patriots in 2010 and 2013. Those were epic beatdowns... no cheating required.

Steelers were lucky to win that game and YOU KNOW IT. Patriots lost because Stevenson couldn't hold on to the ball. 5:1 turnover ratio in favor of Steelers.

The 2013 games was a all-time low....55 points and over 600 yards for the Pats and the Pats had a down year on offense in 2013

I'm sorry does turnovers all of a sudden don't count. Funny because the top 7 teams in turnovers from their D all made the playoffs. LoL.

Cowher can blame our poor record against the Patriots in the 2000s because of Spygate...It possibly cost Cowher two Super Bowl appearances (I think we would have lost to the Rams in 2001, but I would have been confident against the Eagles in 2004).

Tomlin can't blame the Spygate, since the Patriots were caught after Week 1 in 2007, and the Steelers only played the Patriots once under Tomlin in the playoffs.

The Steelers didn't employ a running back who can't hold on to the football. It's not as if it is unusual for Stevenson to fumble the ball. That has been a problem for him for years.

Football games are decided by talent and execution. Turnovers are part of execution. It isn't luck when one team wins the turnover battle. It is better execution.

But sure, the Patriots never had any luck in their favor against the Steelers. lol

Patriots sure as hell didn't need any luck in the '16 AFC Championship game and regular season games of 2010 and 2013. Patriots were flat out better all around.

Patriots beat everyone but really beat the brakes off of the Steelers because we matched up poorly.

The one game we got pressure on them we won. I dont remember where the pressure came from, usually have to get to Brady up the middle but wherever it came from, they got to Brady that game.

Every other time Brady just picked us apart.

2011 regular season. Steelers won that game with ball control (running game with Mendenhall) and limiting Patriots offense with more 3 and outs than usual. Steelers had to play a perfect game... and Arians and Lebeau dialed up the perfect game plan. Too bad that was the only time it worked.
