… or is it “Keep It Comin’ Love”?
(Sometimes I get the song title wrong.)

As far as the lip syncing is concerned . Many , many, many groups do that today. Also what do you call it when you hear two different guitars playing different things, but there is only one guitar player on stage, or you hear an instrument playing in a live gig, and nobody on stage is playing that instrument??

Made me think of Alan Parsons where if I remember correctly he would individually record different instruments and dub them over each other

Then I saw before he did that he was the sound engineer for Dark Side of the Moon

But did he not have someone play them live?? If not....
I've always compared this to lip syncing.

They lip sync their own songs. Milli Vanilli lip synced some other dudes songs and the three of them scammed fans around the world.

Lots of bands use pre-recorded music tracks for sound. Maybe there's no keyboardist but a song has a heavy keyboard intro, as an example. Or for sound effects that are part of the 'music'.

I'm not a fan of lip syncing. Hate it. I do understand when an older singer uses a tone/pitch enhancement on vocals. They are actually singing their song, they just can't hit the higher range notes they could when they recorded the song originally. They could... go back into the studio and re-record songs with the now older vocal version, or just use some technology that helps them vocally. I don't have any problem with singers doing that. I want to see them live. I want to hear them do those old songs. Rock on!

You are correct, that's double bad, but I don't like the idea of lip syncing Your own songs either.

    Boooooo
    Hisses
    Boooooo.
If you can't sing it at that key anymore then play it in another key, or don't play it anymore. Simple. If You are using a sound effect like lighting, wind, or something I get it. If You are using a instrument then get someone to play it, or don't cover it live. Simple. Fake has gone on too long. Either you can actually do it live , for freaking real, or You can't. People are so use to fake that many can't tell the difference anymore.
Like the guy getting millions of views playing a nylon string acoustic on a ship slicing through the water, and pretending they are playing something live, yet the mic is somehow not picking up any sound, but the non plugged in acoustic, and the actual slow people saying how clean he plays because they have been faked so long they can't tell the difference. LoL

I have no idea what you are talking about in this post.
I have no problem with singers using 'crutches'. You don't like that. Perfectly fine.
