Yes. Every QB is a system QB. There are no QBs who can excel in any system. How do you think Matthew Stafford would be in the Ravens’ system built around Lamar Jackson or the Bills’ system that relies on Allen as a dual threat? The system has to best fit the strengths of the starting QB and set him up for the best success.

The art of predicting QB's is a tough business.
I actually remember some New England fans doubting Brady would amount to much.
Bo Nix comes to mind as a QB landing in a great spot. He wound up with Sean Payton, had he wound up with the Jets he probably would be washing cars now.
Allar is Josh Allen size. His running isn't there, but he has an arm and all the qualities.

I like that McCarthy, Tom Arth and Aaron Rogers are all on the same page.
That brain trust should benefit Allar and Howard a lot.
A lot of it depends if they can hone Allar and a Howard's skills into what Brian Angelichio has in place for the offense.

When that ONE player is the QB - the most important player on the entire team - absolutely, 100% yes. If that ONE player is the left guard, not so much.

Best at 2 minute and Spread and that is exactly when AR is at his best , it's also what MM was talking about Will getting better at ... MM has been out of Football for a year and maybe he has some new Spread concepts he wants to unleash .. We got a lot of slash players in this draft and most are good in the open field and capable as runners as well..

I don't think the kid had very good coaching. But what bugs me about him is his mechanics never really improved over all that time. If he was studious, hard working, etc., then I would think he would show growth in that regard.

Still, there is that chance he will be able to correct some of these things that held him back in college. And despite the fact I have never liked McCarthy all that much as a head coach, I do think he's a strong offensive mind. So we'll see.

How has it worked out for Josh Allen and Lamar jackson? Allar isn't half those two. You don't change a whole offense for a QB that has never thrived. Maybe one offense for Allar, one different one for Howard and one for Rodgers or Rudolph. Heck yea, why not. How easy they could make it on other teams DC's.

Only 2 teams make the super bowl per year....And the Bills offense have been elite every year since 2020 so it worked out.The Ravens had also 3 offenses in the top 5,another one 7th in the Lamar Jackson era

Haven’t made the SB is such a lazy argument. Now if those offenses looked like a Matt Canada offense after tailoring it to fit a QB then ya, people saying that would have a point but thats not the case.

Not designing an offense around your QB’s strengths is poor coaching and pretty foolish.
