We can argue about who they should and shouldn’t have taken. Right now none of us have any idea how these guys they’ve drafted will work out long term.

The Steelers have done reasonably well in the middle rounds under the new front office and at least they now realise that having more picks gives them a better chance of finding contributors is all I’m saying.

I would've preferred Pregnon over Everette, but Everette adds some much needed speed to their defensive backfield.

Still think we fumbled the ball passing on Pregnon, who has a more complete game than Dunker. But the Dunker pick was a decent recovery... Dunker may be the strongest interior O-lineman in this draft not named Vega, and he has a mean streak... he won't be great if we're asking him to pull a lot, but wide zone, traps and drive blocking is where he'll make his living

Getting players on the bus is one thing, getting those players to where they need to go depends on a whole lot of other things that never does in CLE.

    Good to know.

The moving two guys to solve one issue can be problematic sometimes, but this makes sense to me.

It makes sense to me, too, but Pregnon was the much better option. Everette may be fast, but he's not good. Maybe he can fix that at the pro level, but that's a big maybe. The Steelers could have easily had a great draft the way things fell, even with rolling the dice on Allar, but they blew it repeatedly.

Totally agree. It’s unfortunate we had to spend anther pick on a tackle and even more unfortunate for Jones that it looks like his career could be over but I think we have a rock solid line now.

I think the Steelers actually improved by Jones misfortune. Im excited to see Max and Dunker get to work.

I actually agree, but it's like You said it's a unfortunate waste of pick. Almost in a way reminds you of how we went from having Hargrave, and Tuitt to having to redo it all on the DL. Hopefully we have the OL in place now.

Funny you mentioned thar, I was thinking of them and this teams bad luck and how much it set them back. Tuitt and Hargrave, Vince Williams retiring young, Shazier injury, Jones injury. Lot to overcome.

We can go as far back as Jason Worilds, too. He had a good season at OLB before he retired before signing a second contract. We drafted Jarvis Jones because of Worilds retiring.
