I'm not saying that it could even happen. Only that I would love to see that monster in the middle of that line and see what happens.

I guess crazier things have happened, but I don't see the Steelers making that move with all the draft capital they have.

Of course, I've been wrong before.

The Ravens can save $19 million by releasing nine-year corner Marlon Humphrey after June 1. The Ravens would take on about $7 million in dead cap that would likely be spread out across two seasons.

Nothing like sniping away a Ravens player. 29 years old.

Ravens GM said he expects him to be on the team

Could also be a trade candidate

So Im not thinking he’s going to be available for the taking

So you think you are smart enough to be a pro scout? Welp, here ya go. Not exactly crazy money.

Well, Sports Management Worldwide reported in 2025 that the league’s scouts might make anywhere from:
    • $20,000 – $45,000/year at the entry level.
    • That amount increases to $50,000 – $125,000/year for a pro or area scout.
    • A senior or national scout could make $90,000 – $175,000/year.
    • A director of scouting can make $175,000 – $300,000.

You mean to tell me Pickens made All-Pro last year, yet the Cowboys are hesitant to sign him long term .

Well, if the Cowboys don’t sign him soon, that will be two teams that will be missing his leadership and steadying locker room presence.

You mean the same Cowboys that waited too long with Micah Parsons, one of the best defensive players on the planet and someone that wanted to be a Cowboy for life?

The Cowboys waited and watched his price go up and up without offering a meaningful contract because they are an inept organization. They thought Parsons was asking too much money, even though he deserved the higher dollars after seeing other defensive players sign huge contracts. Dallas actually wanted Parsons to accept the lower contract offer that they should have offered him months earlier.

Parsons was sick of the nonsense and demanded a trade. All the Cowboys had to do was offer their best player a good contract earlier. Parsons would have signed long-term and the Cowboys would have spent less money for him.

The Cowboys keep getting in their own way. Jerry Jones doesn't seem to understand how to deal with great players and the urgency that needs to be taken in signing those great players early because the cost only goes up if you wait.

We all know Pickens isn't a perfect player, but you can't put all this on him with the way the Cowboys have been mishandling contracts for years now.

Jerry Jones is so awful in negociation....He waited too long on multiple occasions to sign Prescott, and that's why he's now making $60 million a year, which is $5 million more than the second at this position.

Jones also ran his mouth too much during the Parsons contract situation.

Exactly, but some of the folks here who have been trying to defend that terrible trade by the Steelers are going to cling to that report anyway.

Said he had a 'handshake deal' with Parsons....Obviously Parsons wouldn't sign a thing without his agent reviewing the details, then it got ugly. Real ugly.
Jones went to the Trump school of negotiating. Throw some numbers on a table, cause a bunch of chaos in the media, then pout and harangue the other party.

One is 83. The other is 79. More likely the J. Paul Getty school for both.
