I'm guessing kickers would mutiny considering their pay would take a hit.

If they were going to do the 4pt field goal then i think they should get rid of the extra point and make teams go for two.

What if we made the extra point worth 2pts if it was kicked from 60 yards out?

I’d be willing to give a team a point if they would go back to the old traditional kickoff.

That would be interesting, take away going for two, teams would have the option to kick a 30 yarder for 1 or a 60 yarder for 2.

Personally, I would do away with the extra point kick, and put the ball at the 1 1/2 yard line for 1 point.
And spot it at the 2yard line or so for 2points.

I only think it's a bad idea because then You are trying again to take out a part of football. The Special Teams, and the Special Teams has always been apart of football for as long as I can remember.

If the OL is blocking down and the defender turns and gives him his back, I don't think the OL should be penalized for that.

Instead of 1 point for an XP, they lose -1 point for missing. Hell, any FG missed from inside 25 yards, take -3 points and then take the kicker under the stands and kick their ass.

Of course the DL is going to turn, the Qb is running past them, they have to pursue. That would be like saying when a RB goes by the Wr, he can just reach out, and push the CB into the back, and get him out of the way. It the same thing.

How about a rule that bans stupid rule changes and get back to the way the game was intended and out of the hands of the officiating and endzone clown shows.

Wrong. Not even close to being the same thing. OL are blocking DL on the line. Big difference, especially in run blocking. If you're a DL being blocked down by an OL and you turn and give your back while being engaged with a blocker, then you're going down. And enjoy a little extra syrup on your pancake.

Dude that's part of playing OL. If You are blocking a player, and the Qb goes around you, if You are still blocking, it's a hold. It's the same thing. These guys are blocking face to face, and then the Qb goes by, and when the DL, and sometimes LBs turn to give chase the OL is pushing them in the back. It's illegal no matter how You look at it, but they have let it slide for the running QB, just like the NBA has all but done away with traveling.
